SA-TECH provides specialized information technology (IT), telecommunications, and low-voltage technical services that include outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) structured design, engineering, construction, cabling, procurement, installation, maintenance, repair, and modification of the County’s discrete facility and county-wide fiber and copper backbone. Primary areas of expertise are ISP and OSP infrastructure support; systems and equipment O&M; emergency response/services restoration support; program management consultation; and documentation and technical writing support. SA-TECH also assists the County with cybersecurity resiliency; security system procurement, installation, and maintenance; Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) installation and maintenance; access control system installation and maintenance; and utility infrastructure locating. Although the CATS2 contract is managed by Prince George’s County’s OIT, almost every agency in the county utilizes SA-TECH through this master contract to support their individual IT infrastructure support requirements. These county agencies include the Office of Central Services, Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Corrections, and the Department of Public Works and Transportation.
